If you need perspective on life I highly recommend photography. It forces you to value all the parts of something and look at it differently. I like to find "the shot" and "beauty" in the mundane. My subjects vary from trash to alleyways to flowers to horses to mud flaps or whatever catches my eye in a moment. (lol) Yes, even traffic.
